CrossFit Pahlawan is a brainchild of a group of workout buddies with common passion for this all-around functional fitness. From a humble beginning, the box is now many years in establishment with qualified coaches and growing community. One of a kind CrossFit box in Malaysia, located at the rooftop of Citta Mall at Ara Damansara – Airy with over 5,000 square foot space and 30 foot high, more than 50 classes per week, versatile design fit for purpose include Wod areas, free zones, lockers and shower facilities. Our workouts are designed for multi-levels and age-appropriate, from beginners to experienced Crossfitters, from kids to veterans. Whatever your goal may be, let us guide you to get there.
CrossFit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts. Each day the workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning, not specializing in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of building a body that’s capable of practically anything and everything.

No newcomer to the coaching world, Dann is a 5th Dan former National Taekwondo athlete who left his competitive days to set up his own Taekwondo academy, his own outdoor workout company and upon being introduced to CrossFit in 2013, decided it wasn’t just all hype but a challenging and completely addictive form of working out. Setting up Crossfit Pahlawan is a natural progression for Dann to share his love for fitness to the masses (or at least the ones who want to attempt the unconventional). Coach Dann loves his food as much as his workouts but would not trade anything for his beautiful wife and baby boys
I have always had an affinity for the fitness industry having been active in sports since my school days. After graduating with a Bachelor in Sports Science I worked as a fitness instructor in one of the big gyms in KL. Then Crossfit came into the picture. I found the WODs to be right up my alley. The intensity, the weights – a much needed shift in getting me to where I wanted to be. I am constantly pushing my boundaries and achieving PRs. There has been no looking back since I started Crossfit in 2013. Getting myself Level 1 certified was only but my first step in my commitment as I believe in continuously learning new things from CF workshops. Coach Tom loves his ‘sup tulang’, his seafood and his football (not necessarily in that order).
Being an active person since school days leads me to further my studies in Sport Science. It’s all in the name of interest and passion when it comes to sport. I am always curious and want to know more about what athletes eat, how they train and how they manage themselves in various types of sports.
My CrossFit journey began with Open Day at CrossFit Pahlawan. I became a CrossFit hardcore right after that with several years of experience in bodybuilding.
Throughout the years, I dabbled with many things until I finally found CrossFit. It is by far, one of the more challenging sport that I have had the pleasure of encountering. Straight off, I realised it’s a unique battle. It wasn't just about competing with others, it was about self discovery, finding and developing my true potential.
I believe the knowledge and awareness I gained from training and competing prepared and inspired me to want to share with others what the sport of CrossFit is all about. It's not just a fitness program that evolved into a sport, it's about the community of individuals from all walks of life that I am thankful to be a part of and hope to guide and help in achieving their health, fitness and lifestyle goals.
